About me
Around 1983 I started using a PC and since then a love has been born that has never stopped. Moved by an insatiable curiosity, I wrote programs, studied graphics and film editing software, office automation and document management, until I discovered Linux and free software.In the Nineties I started building websites using HTML editors; hours and hours spent writing tags and style rules with the use of increasingly powerful tools: from NotePad to Dreamweaver and then to the first CMS, which have lightened and speeded up web design.
Over the years I have combined my professional activity with teaching: teaching others what I have learned over many years is the most rewarding job I have ever done because those who teach learn, and learning is the main purpose of my life. I have held courses in basic computer science, spreadsheets, databases, Linux for both beginners and companies.
In the meantime I have gained new experience in designing and building websites using WordPress. For convenience I use a builder that allows me to create pages quickly, and I write lines in HTML and CSS to increase the level of customization.
In the last few years in Italy, before my move to Bristol in 2018, I was a contract lecturer for basic IT and web design in the degree course of Graphic design and visual communication in a Italian private university. In the UK I continued both online teaching and the creation of websites.

I designed the website.The project was very ambitious and aimed to provide subscribers with streaming or pre-recorded fitness video lessons. The domain expired in November 2020 and now the website is visible in the web archives.

The website was assigned as an exercise of some students of my web design course at the degree course of graphic design and visual communication of the Academy of Fashion - Institute of Universal Art and Design in Naples. I supervised the project and implementation. Over the years it has been partially modified in content, but the project is the original one.

I designed and built the website. The project was created to introduce tourists to the excavations of Pompeii, the province of Naples and the neighboring regions. Due to Covid, the project was temporarily stopped.
